Cambridge Primary includes optional tests to help us assess your child’s development, compare individual learner and class performance, and report progress to you and your child.

A number of progression tests are built into the Cambridge Primary programme, which enables teachers to assess your child’s progress at each stage. Short progression tests are a valuable way for you and your school to understand your child’s strengths, and identify areas where more help is required. The emphasis of the tests is on showing where your child is on their learning journey, rather than getting right or wrong answers.

Your child will receive a statement of achievement after completing Cambridge Primary Checkpoint and you will receive detailed feedback
on your child’s performance.
